Make custom lists more powerful
The current list management is good to keep for example our "best friends" in one place, but the usage behind it is really limited.
Why not allow several filters in the home page (not in another menu) to display only the tweets of a selected list, and give the possibility to exclude retweets of other users ? It will be useful to follow several persons in priority when you follow too many people.1 vote -
Search bar for your individual timeline
Implementing a search bar solely for your timeline will save users from wasting time trying to remember tweets when they refresh the app. Instead of having to scroll down, search for the tweet with words that are constantly used in the atmosphere, and for those that may have forgotten to bookmark it immediately upon sight.

Build a conversation updates API
I would like to recommend building a conversations API that enables developers to track updates to full conversation threads. This API would retrieve the entire conversation that a Tweet is in, and return all Tweets and replies within a given thread. This API would enable developers to go from a Tweet of interest to all replies in the thread, without having to recursively search for Tweets with the correct "inreplytostatusid".

Split personal pictures and memes in media
Can be interesting to split in two the type of medias in user profiles.
1/ Personal pictures of the user (where he is tagged)
2/ All the rest (gif, memes, etc.)
Currently it's a little bit messy when you want to check the medias of a user.2 votes -
Poll with images
It's a pity to not be able to create a poll providing images on the same tweet. Why not adding it, like you did for retweet few years ago ?

Control scope of tweets individually
The evolution of this week was really interesting, but I would go further and like Facebook, let the user decides WHO can see a tweet (everybody, only my followers, our only the mentioned users).

Integration of twitter login flow for mobile apps and websites
A lab for building a simple login flow using the REST API and HTTP headers would do us a world of good. Detailed steps with how to build structured messages (I am aware that this is documented in fair detail but a lab form would additionally help us test our individual solutions as well) along with reference implementation and standard value outputs against which bespoke solutions can be tested. Along with the above a list of reference implementations for various languages such as Javascript, Java, Python would help as well. I am still stuck at Twitter login and am struggling…

Hide Partial Tweet for Spoiler Discussion
Add a feature to allow for the creation of spoiler filled discussions without the concern of the spoilers being seen by others while they are scrolling through their timeline.
Ideally this would allow for a visible topic to be posted (Movie Title), followed by some text along the lines of "spoiler" that would act as a trigger to display the hidden portion of the tweet (Movie Spoiler).
Potentially replies to the parent tweet would inherit the title and spoiler tag as well to keep replies, retweets, or likes from showing up on a timeline with the spoiler content visible.

Feature Request Web Intent DM on Apps
Hi! I hope this is the right place to ask a bit feature request for the apps.
I build a chat bot and sending CTAs to give example to user how to write some comands on DM (for example: /subscribe #asia, /unsubscribe #asia)
by using Twitter Web Intent of DM
(e.g: https://twitter.com/messages/compose?recipient_id=123456789&text=/subscribe%20#asia).It works great, but I have some inconvenience because on Android App, when user click on the Button, the app open new Android Fragment of DM activities to the same bot.
Thanks!

Build an API to manage polls and poll results
Having access to an API for Twitter native polls would enable developers to create and schedule polls, as well as get back engagement data such as impressions, responses, Retweets of the poll, and their resulting responses, reach, and total engagement.

historical trending topics
Is it possible to get historical trending topics by location, time, and topic category? For example, can we have an API that outputs the top 10 trending business topics in U.S. on certain dates. This will help researchers study and monitor trending topics.

Add an Endpoint for Aggregate Video Metrics Across Tweets
It would be really helpful to have an analytics endpoint in which the entity was a media ID (in my case a video ID) and you could request engagement & video metrics aggregated at the video level, even if that video appeared across many different tweets. Right now this is possible through the Engagement API for video views only, but it would be great if it were available through the Ads API & included seconds/minutes viewed, percentile completions, call to action clicks, etc.

Retweet while limited
When you retweet, it doesn’t go through as normal function under your three day limit. When you do retweet, however, if it doesn’t show up under your recents it will still show retweeted. If you want to retweet it you have to reload the app. Being able to press retweet and if it doesn’t go through continue to scroll or if it does but when you press undo retweet it still stays green. This is one of those bugs that could be fixed in a matter of time, so here’s my suggestion.

First Tweet containing a hashtag
Surface is the first tweet in the hashtag, to know the founder of the hashtag, it is his right; and also there are those who use the hashtag for no purpose intended for topic of the hashtag (no objection to it), but you are tired to reach the news for which the hashtag was founded due to the large number of tweets outside the same topic.
3 votesThis is already possible with the Search API (full archive). You can use the counts endpoint for example to find out when a hashtag was mentioned for the first time on Twitter.

Search bar account connection
In the search bar, when you type a letter in you come across accounts that follow you. That feature should include accounts you follow in general as well. Shows mutual connections on there as well as everyone you follow for more suggestions and efficiency.
