A more transparent application process, with the option for appeal
Currently, the Twitter Developer application process can result in an application being rejected without explanation, with no option for appeal or reapplication from the same Twitter account. Being more transparent about the reasons for rejection, as well as allowing people to appeal or reapply, is likely to lead to more clarity on the actual rules of the Twitter Developer application process as well as healthier community engagement.

I completely agree. I started a new job in a company integrating a simple script for accessing frictionless and in a clean way to the company profile stats (basically followers and impressions). No app created never before. Whoever managing before blocked undeterminably any option of obtaining the profile stats. Those are already open to the user, those are accessible via web UI, but now querying them requires scraping and headless browser testing techniques which only means more cost to everybody, a disappointing lose-lose-lose situation.
