    Thanks for the feedback!

I believe there is a difference between Tweets being withheld and media being withheld. The withheld_in_countries field is for Tweets and there is indeed no indication of media being withheld in the API today. We will consider this feedback going forward.

Thanks for the feedback! We don’t currently have a means for developers to programmatically query our Ads Transparency Center data on Political Content ads. Twitter is actively working to expand its Ads Transparency offerings, however.

We’d love to learn more about you and your use case for this data, however. Would you care to tell us a bit more about yourself and your project?

    Thanks for the feedback, Rob.

Could you tell us more about why this would be useful? How would you use this type of feature if it was made accessible via the API?

Thanks for your contribution, this is very helpful! A similar idea has previously been shared on this platform, so I will merge the two suggestions.

Thanks for this additional information. Have you heard of OIDC and what are your thoughts on this?

Twitter currently offers three levels of app permissions: (1) read only; (2) read and write; (3) read, write and access Direct Messages. These options are not granular enough for some developers, and developers would like more options to choose from.

For example, an app’s “write” permission could be segmented into more granular options: (1) write access to a user’s profile; (2) write access to a user’s network (follow/unfollow, mute, block, list modification); (3) write access to a user’s timeline, including the permission to Tweet, Retweet, or like a post.

Another example includes Sign In With Twitter: there could be an option to implement the sign in flow with “read” access only.

Here’s one example of a past forum post with a related request: https://twittercommunity.com/t/suggestion-more-granular-read-write-app-permissions/121810
