I think you mean the 'is:quote' operator, no?

Thank you very much. Yes that helps a little bit, because I can save postprocessing of the results.

What about making it an own API call 'quoted_retweets_of_account_XYZ(account_id)', so that I do not have to call it thousands of times with all my own tweet_ids as argument, just to collect the few "quoted retweets" of my own tweets?

    Thanks for considering.

For this simple purpose -give me all "quoted retweets" of my own tweets-
using instead the search API would cause 100s or 1000s of API calls!!!

I am about to implement that, but it's not only many calls, but also repeatedly many calls, PLUs it is quite complex to code. It's a shitty workaround, TBH.

Instead, we would like it to work exactly like
or THE BEST WOULD BE like

    My goal is:

    * to find EVERYONE who has retweeted ANY of my own tweets - INCLUDING if someone has "retweeted with comment" one of my tweets; then I want also all accounts retweeting THAT tweet (because they are essentially retweeting MY tweet. You see?)

Right now I can NOT simply call an endpoint and get all those cases.

Here is some more information because I had asked around a lot already:

    * specific suggestion which 1 - 3 new endpoints to implement: also see the ~4 comments ABOVE that one

    * this issue is also about the same question:

Thanks a lot, please keep us posted about discussions you are going to have with the coders. Happy to explain more. Thanks, Andreas

Yes, please. I would also like that new API endpoint.
